If you can correctly pronounce every word in this poem, you will be speaking English better than 90% of the native English speakers in the world. After trying the verses, a Frenchman said he’d prefer six months of hard labour to reading six lines aloud. Try them yourself.

Oh my god, this poem is in the textbook for the pronunciation class I had last year (my 1st year at uni, studying English)! O_o
That was fun! :D There was about 12 words I didn’t know, and only 8 I actually pronounced incorrectly. Why yes, I’m an English major and I love Linguistics, lol. Suck it, my silly, stupid fellow native English speakers - learn your language!
